Charles I, Andrew
Charles I
Charles Robert, wrongly derivated from the Italian name Caroberto, which was never used like this in the period. He was born in Naples in 1288 as Charles Martell and Clementia Habsburg's single son. He was crowned Hungarian king three times. His first wife, Maria, was the daughter of Leo, the chief prince of Halics. His second wife was Maria, Princess of Teschen (1317), the third one was Beatrix, sister of the Czech king, John III (1318) and the fourth one was Elisabeth, the Polish king, Ulaslo's daughter (1320). He had five sons from this fourth marriage, from among them Louis (the Great) I, Stephen and Andrew lived longer than their father. His bastard son, Coloman became the Bishop of Győr. He died on 16 July 1342, and he was buried at Székesfehérvár.

Andrew
Angevine prince. He was born in 1327 as Charles I and Elisabeth's fourth son. His father took him to Naples in 1333 and had him engaged to Johanna, granddaughter of Robert the Wise, King of Naples to make him heir apparent to the throne of Naples. In 1343 Johanna became the ruler alone, when his mother asked the Pope to crown Andrew. With his wife's approval he was murdered on 18 September 1345 In Aversa. The Hungarian Angevine Legendarium was probably made for him. He was buried in Naples.
