mine regale
The king's income from his royal prerogative, after part of the mined ores, which was collected through the urbura.
TI
mining towns
Towns, where the population was engaged in mining, and this activity defined the privileges of the town, too. By the end of the Middle Ages a few of them - the mining towns of the Garam region - became free royal mining towns. These were the following: Selmecbánya, Besztercebánya, Libetbánya, Bakabánya, Bélabánya, Körmöcbánya and Újbánya.
TI
hamor (the German Hammer = hammer)
A wheel turned by water power, attached to a beam that moved vertically and operated a huge windbag needed for the smelting furnace, or a hammer for forging. The smelting furnace, which joined this machine, other buildings and sometimes the mine itself were also called hamor [hammer].
