Ladislaus
A Polish prince from the Piast dynasty, who shared his power in the Oppeln principality with his younger brother in 1356. Between 1367-72 he was palatine, after 1372 a Russian voivode, between 1377-79 the governor of Poland. After Louis (the Great) I's death he was the supporter of the marriage of Hedvig ang Ulaslo Jagello. In Hungary he supported Sigismund. He died in 1401.

Casimir the Great
Ulaslo (Lokietek) I's son, born in 1310. From 1333 to 1370 he was a ruler, the last Polish king from the Piast dynasty. The side branches of the dynasty ruled in Silesia. He had only bastard sons, he had no children from his three marriages. In 1339 he signed a contract of succession with the Hungarian king, Charles I.
